CISA Urges Critical Infrastructure to Stay Vigilant - CISA warns infrastructure operators to assume active probing after US - Iran strikes and to lock down OT environments ahead of patch Tuesday.
Supply Chain Shock - Ingram Micro - One of the world’s largest IT distributors, Ingram Micro, confirmed ransomware in it’s internal systems. Some ordering portals were pulled offline over the 4th of July weekend, leaving partners scrambling for alternate suppliers.
Hacked Airline, 6 Million Records - Qantus airline out of Australia was targeted in a major cyber attack. Potentially 6 million customers exposed, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and birth dates.
UK Business Attack - More than 25% of UK businesses were hit by a cyber attack last year. Nearly 73% of more than 8,000 business leaders believe their business will be disrupted by a cyber attack in the next 12 to 24 months.
Attackers use PDF Attachments to Hack - Hackers are impersonating brands like Microsoft and Docusign in a callback phishing scheme. They are inserting payloads into the documents to make a callback to the hackers servers.
Critical AI Vulnerability - A remote code execution vulnerability in Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) Inspector is potentially allowing attackers to compromise machines and networks
